Very Nice Resort but the food is way over priced

The resort it self is beautiful, well maintained gardens, nice infinity pool, The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are friendly. My only complain is the food way head over hills over priced. I don't mind paying for expensive food as long as its worth it, unfortunately there's nothing special about their food.

... This little bay became a vital port of call as Rob's bike was very low on gas and being ever vigilent, he understood that he soon could be stranded without gas. And so, we asked for help which once again began a whole chain of events in the quest for a piece of hose so I could syphon off gas from one tank to the next. It's really hard to explain but this simple task ended up taking 30 minutes and in the end, still never got the piece of hose. ...

... the beach which is unremarkable, notwithstanding the groups of turtles we are here to see, they are lazily chomping seagrass off the floor and we watch , also lazily, as they go about their business.

The second site we snorkel is slightly better, though it doesn’t match the glorious corals and marine life of Samoa. I do see my first sea snake though, way cool. The second snake I follow starts to coil up as if in strike, so I leave it alone. Far away from Dumaguete ...

... Alo island) it was pretty good, big room, nice big balcony, but with out electricity it was hot... Very hot! It did have a great family run vibe, no menu just if you want dinner you eat what they eat and when they eat, a honesty system for drinks and a cat that looked like Hitler. After checking in and unloading we went straight out to snorkel and literally within a minute and only a few metres out to sea we spotted our first turtle! And it was huge! We got so ...

... organization) do this all over the world in conjunction with local dive schools. It gives local kids a chance to become professionals in a field that would often times be too expensive otherwise. The kids were super exited and it was fun to be around all that activity, even if we were just on the sidelines. When our time on Apo came to an end, we caught a ride back to Dumagete with Harold's Mansion (for "free") and now we are staying there for a few days hanging ...

    Bohol Time
We made it to the hotel safe and sound and the next morning we caught a ferry (we've officially lost count now) over to the island of Bohol, with our destination, Alona Beach. The hotel was set back from the beach so to get down there it involved a slightly questionable concrete path which at night was pitch black, so ...
