Very Nice Resort but the food is way over priced

The resort it self is beautiful, well maintained gardens, nice infinity pool, The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are friendly. My only complain is the food way head over hills over priced. I don't mind paying for expensive food as long as its worth it, unfortunately there's nothing special about their food.

We are swimming with them as they move along the line chasing their next easy feed. They move languidly, if not gracefully, and point themselves almost vertically up at the men in bancas throwing out handfuls of crushed shrimp. I am so mesmerised I leavre J-she behind to have her own aquatic wonder whilst I follow the sharks around, we could touch them, though ...

... Alo island) it was pretty good, big room, nice big balcony, but with out electricity it was hot... Very hot! It did have a great family run vibe, no menu just if you want dinner you eat what they eat and when they eat, a honesty system for drinks and a cat that looked like Hitler. After checking in and unloading we went straight out to snorkel and literally within a minute and only a few metres out to sea we spotted our first turtle! And it was huge! We got so ...

After Boracay, we flew directly to Dumegette in Southern Negros. We immediately left the city, taking a really long trike ride to Malatapay Beach. Although only 28 km from the airport, the trike drove between 10-15 km an hour, so it was slow going. From there, we took a public bangka (the stereotypical boat of the Philippines which we've used numerous times now) across the water to Apo Island. This ride was again slow. We could see the island, but ...

... the main road, but it would be hard to get bored in this place with the countless dive sites a short boat ride away, the pool, book exchange, board games and happy hour from 5-7 which the owners always attend. The unusual part about this resort is the family feel that they have. The owners are very hands on, and most days attend happy hour and the ‘family style’ dinner that is hosted every evening. Their enthusiasm encourages ...

... as muck dives. You wander in from the shore and underwater, the sand just looks like mud and muck. I didn't really think this would mean good diving. Oh how wrong I was! An American couple had told me that it is worth doing as it is so different and there are so many interesting and weird creatures to see in the muck...Oh go on then, you've convinced me!! The morning we left the resort, I was up early to go and check out this muck and I was so glad, it ...
