The staff at the Arizona Biltmore make the difference between just another 5-star resort and an exceptional experience that you'll remember forever. All members of the staff were very helpful throughout our conference planning, which allowed us to provide the best experience possible for the students in attendance. This place is expensive for vacationers, so come prepared to spend some money!

On arrival at the Grand Canyon, we skipped the hotel check in to go catch sunset over the canyon. Our first sight of the Grand Canyon was a sunset shot, so as you could only imagine, it was insanely purifying and intense to us. I really want to be able to ...

      • We met up with Jack's old friends, Mitch and his wife Mattie, who live in Phoenix, AZ.
      • They promised to show us the best museums and sites in the area if we ever came to visit them.
      • It took us 2 hours to travel 150 miles from Blythe to Phoenix.
      • We first filled up the gas tank, just so that we wouldn't need to refill throughout the day.
      • Gas was $27.95.
      • By the time we met up with Mitch ...

... two-thirds the way up the mountain Karen veered to the right while I stayed center. At that time a heard a rattle. Knowing immediately what it was I immediately turned around. Once I felt I was a safe distance I turned back again and saw the rattle snake. It was making its way from under one rock to two rocks side-by-side. I did take some pictures of it. So on day three as we were hiking the Tortugas mountain in Las Cruces, NM, Karen ...

... off! We had fun, had dinner and beer and danced about half of the dances! We talked to Ron E a couple of times and he is a good guy. We had supper and beer and just before we left a young man came by and Phil commented that he looked and dressed like Doc Holiday! We talked for about a half hour and enjoyed him. He, Zack, is married to the violinist for the next band up tonight. We will try to meet them at the Elks tomorrow night. This is the Apache Junction Festival and the ...

It was dark by the time I finished but it does look better. I wanted to get the cactus trimmed a bit more but too dark and I have dr appt at 9 am so won’t get it done this week.
