The dam that created the lake is huge and is part of the Central Arizona (irrigation) Project that serves ...
We've spent the last few days in and around the Phoenix area, staying with Uncle Jim and Aunt Kay Scheuerell. We've gone out to eat, gone to a flea market, a microbrewery, a mountain hike (got to the top, but had a couple spills getting down) and overall have been having a great time.

TravelPod Member ReviewsArizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Resort Phoenix
The staff at the Arizona Biltmore make the difference between just another 5-star resort and an exceptional experience that you'll remember forever. All members of the staff were very helpful throughout our conference planning, which allowed us to provide the best experience possible for the students in attendance. This place is expensive for vacationers, so come prepared to spend some money!
