The view from the ship of traditional white houses with blue trim was unmistakeable Greek! We took a water taxi from the ship to Mykonos to walk around town and enjoy the picture-postcard views. The weather was slightly warmer than yesterday and we enjoyed a rain-free day. The sun actually shone brightly this ...

We arrived in Naxos on our comfortable and speedy aquajet and were thankfully met by an agent who showed us to our transfer and organised the information for our stay (things were looking up!).
Our hotel was on the outskirts of the main area and check in was simple before being shown to our room and getting a run-down of the area and the island.

... the way back to the car. Dinner at the Holiday Sun & decided on an early night! After a double espresso that was never going to happen! Paros is really beautiful, particularly this time of the season. Still a few tourists & not all shops/cafes are open but it is a delightful way to end a holiday. Will definitely come back here. Accommodation is sensational. Have met some really nice people from all parts of the world. We particularly love the barman Leonard! ...

Ainsley led us on a Greek Mythology lesson next which was the second one of our trip and she told us all about the gods and how Zues was born. The lesson then turned into a dance lesson and we were all swept up and following each other in big winding circles to music and the clapping of the bar staff. The leader then mixed it up a bit by getting the guys in the middle to teach us the male Greek dance. It is essentially just you standing around looking ...
