That being said, the last couple of days have had their fill of adventures, and I'm glad to finally sit down and be able to post about them! On Saturday I left Ankara and flew to Thessaloniki, Greece, where I'll be based for a few days before heading back to Istanbul. As I was not being picked up for my transfer until 2:50pm, they let me have use of the room as there was no-one coming in immediately. I find that the hotels are very obliging .... Maybe because it is the end of the season and they want to give a good impression or maybe they are just generally nice? Anyway, I decided to kill a ...

... was delicious and now that the goon was out it was going down a treat. The day couldn’t get any better and as we set off again we took over the on board playlist and set up some sing alongs. The captain kept shouting "This isn’t MYKONOS" but we didn’t care and I went on to sing to the entire boat a complete and full “I don’t want to miss a thing” by Aerosmith. Adele also got a feature as well as queen Bohemian Rhapsody. We must ...
