    The staff here are incredibly friendly; within walking distance (20 minutes) to Kamala beach, excellent food at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner.

    We have arrived in Kamala which is a very sweet town just south of Phuket airport... Our last 4 nights are gonna be in luxury with this 4 star resort... We have hot running water, matching bathrobes and slippers, tea and coffee in the room, a flat screen tv on the wall, comfy beds.....and the only thing we have to think about now is which infinity …

    ... had so many cheap airlines and we managed to pick up a cheap flight to Bangkok and then decided to catch a bus to the Thai/Cambodia border.

    We caught the boat from Phi Phi taking us back to Phuket and were about halfway on our 2 hour crossing, when I felt the seat really drop down and rock and sway and my first thought was that’s bad turbulence, the secong thought being – ‘We are not on a plane’

    ... building of the Buddha. We purchase a marble square for 100 baht ($3.00) and write our names and message on it. It will join many, many others in completing the Lotus portion of the Buddha statue. There are always monks present at the site and offer blessings to all (free !). We climb the steps up to the base of the Buddha and take in the spectacular view (you can see 360 degrees). After a few photo ops, we walk through the centre of the statue where it's cool ...
