... nothing as good as to what I remember from 2012. Perhaps its all down to the wet rainy weather I'm riding in today or have I just got so use to seeing such glorious scenery that I don't see it being that good anymore??

The roads were really quite flooded around here with loads of surface water and so it was pretty slow going. With so many twists and turns there was not much time to look at the scenery as all concentration was keeping the bike upright on these ...

... like to cruise at a steady 120 km/h but due to boredom, I found myself doing more like 130 to 140! Mind you the Mercs, Beemers and Audis still passed me. The motorway makes a kind of dog leg. I could have followed the scenic coast with a lesser distance but it would have taken much longer to get to Opatja. The signs Rijeka/Belgrade seemed to come and go for ever. As ...

... had a lovely meal tonight (some of the best food we have had in Croatia) and then went for a walk around the town. Tonight is our last night in croatia a tomorrow we head off to Italy.
