We packed up early and were picked up at 7am we were bused to Rassada harbour to board the boat to Krabi via Phi Phi island. We had a 2hr boat ride to Phi Phi island and we both got sea sick , me much worse than Sal! This morning we wake up early ready for our 8 hour minibus journey from Penang to Krabi Town. Not the most comfortable of journeys it has to be said! In the Gulf of Thailand we started with the international favorite of Koh Samui, attended the full moon party on Koh Phangan, and I got to do some cheap diving off of Koh Tao. On the west coast in the Andaman Sea we visited Phuket, and Koh Phi Phi twice.

Overall I would have to say ...

... atmosphere. The cliff scenery is amazing and I wish I'd had a go at climbing here but I hurt my toe and wouldn't have been able to slide the tight fitting climbing shoes on without aggravating it. Not the nicest of beaches but the presence of jugglers and hoopers made this an enjoyable first stop. Ps. Leo - I have a new trick for you! I can't do it yet, and I don't think I've seen you do it before but you can probably already do it anyway! See ya in April sista! ...
