Day 18: Today we packed up and said goodbye to Phuket, we got up a little later then normal and a little bit sore but it was definitely worth it after having a great time last night. We thought about booking a bus and ferry combo to Koh Samui but due to us getting up late we would have missed the last ferry to the island, we looked at flying but …

The bus journey took us through more impressive scenery before we arrived at the beach around half an hour later. The day was really sunny and warm but we had researched that the weather would get worse as the day progressed; with that in mind we headed to Railey Beach pretty much straight away. Railey ...

... We headed back to the room to change and shower and then headed back out for a drink and some food. I wasn't too hungry so just grabbed a bag of watermelon from a street seller to have as we were walking. We headed back to the beach we were at yesterday and sat at one of the beach bars, the tide had gone out and had left two big boats on the sand. It turns out they were carrying building equipment and resources so all of a sudden a digger drove on to the sand ...
