Woke up this morning bright and early to go diving!! Driver picked me up in a pick up truck. Except the part at the back had two benches to sit on. When we got to the pier, we took a speedboat out to Koh Phi Phi. Usually, on a ferry, it takes about 2.5 hours. The speedboat will get us there in 45 minutes. I dived with Aqua Vision Divers. They had 6 divers. They split us up into open water and advanced open water divers. This was great, as I got to dive ...

Some ten minutes later we inexplicably picked up one more person - an armrest went up and there were three people in the front. We drove like this for an hour or so - waited a half hour for the first little ferry and the came upon a long lineup for the second crossing - the driver gets out and starts tacking with other drivers - the hell ...

The driver told us that most workers come from Java, the main island in Indonesia and around 4 million people live on Bali which explains the huge traffic problem they seem to have. He said the rice ...

... heavy tropical storms which made us come up with plan B to return to the East Island of Koh Samui where the storms have not yet visited and we can re visit our favoured spots. We hired a scooter here too so that we could venture to the Lanta Animal Welfare Centre and see what else the island had to offer. Needless to say we have gone over 8 months without this happening so it was bound to happen... our scooter broke down and had a flat tyre on its 2nd ...

... fella I wasn't interested in any of that, I received a handshake and was pointed on my way.

I was due to stay in Krabi for one week only, but as I'd spent the entire week partying at night and sleeping by day, I decided to stay a wee bit longer and so moved into a new place in the livelier part of Krabi. One of the reasons for staying was so I could go on an excursion or two. The obvious one was the James Bond Island, which was worth it just for ...
