... got stung on the bum! After a quick shower and food we went back to the other hostel and joined the pub crawl where they take you to a local ladyboy bar and a couple of clubs.
Up early the next day for checkout and we lazily hangout at the hostel for a while before getting lunch with a large group of other backpackers. Leaving in the afternoon we got a taxi to Krabi Town and basically crashed as soon as we arrived! Getting too old for these late nights! Haha
... so much chatting and build up, she had arrived, and we were getting along so well. The first day on the beach I also bumped into a couple from Israel I had met 6 weeks earlier in Luang Namtha, Laos. They were staring at me awkwardly until they realized who I was and said hello. It's not unusual to bump into the same folks while traveling the same country, but a bit less common when you have ventured through so many places.

You can walk through the forest to the other side of the island and there's a little viewpoint over there that we all walked to that was cool. The inner part of the island are also very beautiful, with mangrove trees everywhere making patterns of light and shade on the ground.
