Woke up this morning bright and early to go diving!! Driver picked me up in a pick up truck. Except the part at the back had two benches to sit on. When we got to the pier, we took a speedboat out to Koh Phi Phi. Usually, on a ferry, it takes about 2.5 hours. The speedboat will get us there in 45 minutes. I dived with Aqua Vision Divers. They had 6 divers. They split us up into open water and advanced open water divers. This was great, as I got to dive ...

... but as we met quite a few people we decided that as we had Future music festival coming up we didn't mind being in such a chilled out place for longer, we spent days at the beaches and nights watching films and in the bars whilst Loz tried to master the tight rope (or slack line as everybody calls it here) One day we went to a view point and a lagoon-holy **** it was hard work! There were ropes to abseil down parts of the track and help u pull yourself up! But we managed ...

By this time is was 4 pm, we hiked up the stairs back to our room, had an ice cold shower and got ready for our Xmas eve dinner, of which we paid 1600 baht for each. What a spread put on for us, from ...

... a bit tough because the trail does not have any lights and there are some missing steps so you have to be extra careful. We all made it in one piece and headed to "The Last Fisherman" a cute little resturant on the beach. Then, we got cocktails and walked along the beach and did a bit of bar hoping. Lena and Joe played pool while Maricel and I shopped for a new bathing suit. I only packed two and I ...

... role in the 2002 movie "The Beach" and for being one of the main casualty in the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami. I had to decide for myself whether I was a Phi Phi lover or a Phi Phi Loather. Coming into Ko Phi Phi Dons Tonsai bay on the boat from Ko Lanta was pretty impressive and the water was so clear and the ocean so calm. This initial opinion was slightly dampened however when we set foot off the jetty, the centre of the island is a maze and looks like everything was built ...
