... People had the option of leaded (with rum) or unleaded (no rum), however I have a feeling that on the leaded was actually available. The punch was very strong and I thought you could only taste rum and no fruit punch. A couple of people found the run to be quite tasty as went back for seconds and judging by the joyfulness of the bus ride back, possibly thirds.

Having survived both the rum punch and the stingrays, it was time to retrace our steps back to St. John’s. Being ...

... I think I got a picture of a humming bird:) So after a fabulous time in Barbuda we made our way back to Jolly Harbour to restock. A great sail and the joy of seeing an enormous humpback whale propel at least 16 ft out of the water and cause the biggest bellyflop splash I've ever seen, suspended animation has made my day!! Wow:) Swung past Sandals Dickinson Bay Antigua to check out where we nearly thought about getting married. Stunning but our choice of Sri Lanka and Maldives beat it hands ...

I am sorry but I just don't get it. David says it's a wonderfully soothing sport, but I found it pointless. We tried for two hours and three different positions on the lake but although we saw lots of disturbances in the water, tried different bait and casting techniques we did not catch a sausage.

We ended up sitting on the bridge on the causeway, but this was a bad ...

Although it is only day three of the holiday we have already fallen into a blisteringly fierce routine. Breakfast is followed by lying in the sun for two hours, followed by lunch, then more lying in the sun, afternoon tea, a nap in the room, drinkies before dinner then dinner then collapse exhausted in the room about 9pm.

It's a punishing pace, but we're hoping to be able to keep going for another 12 days.

... Our tour guide had us all sing our individual national anthems at the end of the tour. As we listened to the others’ anthems, we still felt great pride in ours in spite of our many perceived flaws.

Tonight, because it was a very long day, we decided to dine in our Suite. The great thing is that we can order the same four course meal as if we were in the dining room. The table in our room was formally set and our attire was ...
