... We stopped off at Shirley Heights where we bought Elizabeth and Tammy necklaces as we had promised. We were soon on our way to Nelsons Dockyard and the long awaited Lobster and Rum Punch! We had a great afternoon in the sun, eating and drinking. We soon had to stagger back to the bus to go to the beach (Turners). Dave and I went swimming in the Caribbean Sea. Wonderful. What a great way to live. Then back on the coach and back to the ship. We had a quick ...

... I think I got a picture of a humming bird:) So after a fabulous time in Barbuda we made our way back to Jolly Harbour to restock. A great sail and the joy of seeing an enormous humpback whale propel at least 16 ft out of the water and cause the biggest bellyflop splash I've ever seen, suspended animation has made my day!! The music rose to a crescendo and the Limbo guy performed the ...

Day 1 Our first day started well with bright sunshine but soon deteriorated into floods of rain, hindering somewhat the progress of anti fouling. Eric was pleased as it meant he could start the fun project of trying to repair the prop - good progress but the plastic sheath broke off inside so tomorrow we are going to have to take the prop shaft right out. Wednesdays launch looking dodgy as locals predicting more rain over next few days! Day 2 So much ...

... bay on long island and spent the evening onboard.
15/2 we got up early and sailed through a small gap in the barrier reef and sailed over to the stunning but desolate island of Barbuda, we sailed up 11 mile beach and anchored off one of the 2 buildings on it a hotel , It was open but had no guests, so we stayed onboard again, Barbuda’s population of 2,000 nearly all live in the capital Codrington which is on the Big lagoon ...
