... There was an ordinary type seat, a small sink and barely enough floor space for our luggage. It was also weirdly extremely cold! We had paid extra to go 1st class with our own cabin and were pretty glad we had! Still, we were comfortable enough watching Bangkok go by out the window until it got dark and then an attendant came and made up our beds. The seat ended up as bunk beds and they gave us sheets, pillows with cases and a blanket each (thank goodness). It was ...

Tourist were all over the island with many riding scooters - some well and some more in circles. Lanta Old Town has a great pier and a small street with restaurants and small shops. If only I ...

... the bungalows which turned out to be a lie but it was pretty good around reception and the pool so decided that would do! The resort was like a proper holiday you'd come to for 2 weeks. It had a lovely pool, bar, restaurant, warm showers, a tv, all the standard things a hotel has just not when you're travelling! It was so clean and modern we felt spoilt! The restaurant looked out onto the beach and was 3 steps away from the sand. ...

... cliff, we were given life vests, and then we jumped off the boat and were told to follow our guide who, intriguingly, was wearing a head torch. We followed him into a cave entrance at the cliff bottom, and all the way in... The mouth of the cave was amazing in it's colour - illuminated only by the colour of the water that filled it. As we pressed on though, it became pitch darkness. Swimming through a sea cave in darkness was a really cool feeling, and soon we saw ...
