We grabbed a table and sat for most of the evening chatting and people watching then went for a dance, not really sure how late we were out but we got a pizza slice on the way home and stumbled into bed! It's safe to say yesterday was a write-off haha! Nothing to report except i stayed in bed until 6pm to get food then went back to ...

... head lamps for us. Early on we were resigned to the fact that the guide was not going to say much. Maybe it's just this developing part of Thailand but the business owners really have no sense of greeting and paying their customers any attention. We are noticing people sleeping on the job and not acknowledging paying customers for long periods of time. Some people have gotten it and understand that on an island full of tourists you might want to be somewhat friendly. It was ...

... in and all the contents had leaked all over the bed and our unopened water bottle had holes in the bottom which too had leaked all over the bed. We both couldn't work out what had done it and we're both crying with nervous laughter. I followed the trail and found rat droppings leading under the bed. I then shone a touch under to see a hoard of shavings and a rat in the corner. I screamed and we ran out the room as the rat ran up the wall and out through the ceiling. It was about 1am ...
