    ... us and one other couple from Edmonton staying at the resort. The room was clean, spacious, and the smell of wood reminded me so much of the cottage. Giap the hotel manager is a really nice lady!     ... over the food here. We breakfasted like Kings and we thought the breakfasts were fantastic. Eggs were cooked to order fried, boiled, poached, scrambled or an omlette and brought to your table so no hanging around waiting for them to be cooked. There was also all your usual hot items - baked beans, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, potatoes and mixed vegetables but all done really nicely and slightly different everyday. Attached photo doesn't portray the colours very well, just taken on the iPad mini (yes, wifi on the beach!).     Once underway again it was only another hour until we docked at the old town in Koh Lanta. Koh Lanta is also an island but similar to Phuket it is connected to the mainland via a bridge as it is that close. Compared to the Islands we have been on so far Koh Lanta was massive.
