... re just gonna sack it off. It was around 5pm when we showered and got ready for dinner. The idea was to watch the sunset here and then go further north to explore Lanta and find somewhere along the beach to eat dinner. We found a tuk-tuk driver who dropped us at Long Beach which is supposed to have lots of restaurants and bars along the beach. We didn't find this to be the case - quite the opposite. ... stopped for a dip. We'd noticed lots of small round jellylike blobs and a few jellyfish washed up on the beach but didnt realise the entire sea appeared to be filled with jelly! It was grim, like wading through watered down rice pudding. So we made a hasty exit. The cycle back was much easier as it was now late afternoon and only took us half an hour. We chilled out a bit at the bungalow and then headed back out on the bikes to Saladan to try some street food. My bike's ...
