... that kind of setting, it's quite an inexplicable feeling really!! We explored the shore, sat on the beach...listened and watched the long tail boats go by...while the South Pacific sun was!!! We had a mask (no snorkel) and explored the sea in front of us...Cris discovered a 'chocolate chip star fish'...which she described as "...Lise, look at the starfish I found! It's pink and has ...

We moved into Monkey Beach. We imagined it to be full of little monkeys you could play with but not one insight. Instead it was a small beach surrounded by coral and fishes to snorkel with. Again we put on the masks and went under. This time we were a lot closer to the coral so could see more detail of the smaller ...

Ko Lanta! So out time in the Gulf of Thailand was over and time to head to the andaman coast. This is on the easy side of Thailand. Getting there was quite a journey and we both wished we'd booked a flight by the end of it Firstly we had to get a boat from Ko Tao to Surat Thani on the mainland, this took about 3 hours and from here it was onto a bus and a 3 hour drive across the mainland to Krabi, we thought to this point ...
