We unpacked (as we actually have a wardrobe here) and headed off to the pool with our books! We spent the day lying on our sun loungers either reading or dozing and having the occasional dip in the pool. We even made the long journey of approximately 20 steps to the restaurant at lunchtime!

    ... luxury of Bangkok.

A late lunch, a few hours resting or catching the Rays from a very hot sun and an early evening walk around the bay to check out options for dinner. An early night to catch up on ...

... with the big **** knives when smashing the garlic or shallots where she would let out “KILL IT” with much gusto in her cute Thai accent and high pitched squeal! After some background into Thai cooking and flavours over Mieng Kham (Thailand in one bite), we made our favourite, som tam (papaya salad), pad thai with shrimp and a delicious 3 flavoured sauce to go with pan fried fish and deep fried Thai basil. So now with a Vietnamese and Thai cooking class under our belts, ...
