... our sarongs and walked down to the river. What was waiting was us at the bottom was just, nothing like I've done before. Bamboo rafts! About 10m long and 2m wide, roped together massive bamboo trunks. Somehow we got on them and then one of the guides was on the back with a another bamboo rod pushing us along. After several discussions with Australian Customs, who were very polite and helpful, it seems that we will be charged full import duty on the yacht even if we were to land in Australia for one day. After check out, we played scrabble for a bit, and then went and picked ...

... went down last night so thought I'd do a quick entry before updating the blog. Today is Anzac Day in Fiji and Australia which is something to do with marking the end of the war but to be honest I don't know a lot about it. Last night we thought we'd share a cuddle in one of the hammocks dotted around the hotel only to snap the bloody thing!! Haha!! Today has been lovely and hot again and so we've just lounged around the pool again. We had a little ...

Checked out and got the speed boat back to the mainland and got a taxi to the airport. Had a couple of hours wait and then boarded our flight to Melbourne:) Flight was ~6hours. Arrived in Melbourne ~10pm and got a taxi to Rose Street, Fitzroy (my friend Tasha's house) where we stayed until we found somewhere of our own ...
