We arrived by Air Asia flight from KL, on arrival it was manic the immigration was a total joke, you have to pay $35 each to buy a Visa on entry (VOE) and you also have to pay $20 when you leave called departure tax. Our hotel Villa Diana in Seminyak/Legian arranged and airport pickup but there were hundreds of Balinese men and women holding name cards so it was impossible to find our driver after a quick phone call to our hotel we were met by the driver and made our way ...

We also arranged for a driver to pick us up and drop us off in Nusa Dua on the weekend, as we are staying one night on Saturday in a nicer resort as a treat. We had a good time bargaining with the company ...

We would like to recommend this to anybody who loves snakes and reptiles or to anybody who would like to experience something different and thrilling. We also would like to thank the whole team of Bali Reptile Rescue who made this an unforgettable ...

... actually very beautiful; long with golden sand and the sea is very warm and inviting. However what takes the shine off is the overwhelming number of hawkers trying to sell everything from massages to cold drinks, sarongs to wooden carvings and even decorative bow and arrows. For what feels like miles there are umbrellas lining the back of the beach which provide cover for chilly bins full of Bintang. Each of these ‘bars’ has a name; we saw ...
