... hitting the start boat. With the very soft breeze and slow boat speed, by time we started we where 10 minutes behind the fleet. With some excellent steering and sail trimming it didn't take long before we had passed half the fleet in a dieing breeze. Kevin noticed that we were sailing into a very calm patch of water ahead of us, so we tacked away 90 degrees from the rest of the fleet and away from our destination to where we could see stronger wind. We sailed for about ...

    ... that...I love a good sunset.

Our next stop was the very touristy but very beautiful Dubrovnik. While it's overloaded with tourists and Croatians trying to get you to eat at their restaurants, it's a really beautiful city. Gonz wants to sail to Italy & just blow our insurance ...

If we had been cycling, it is recommended that ride to the top of the highest peak on the island Vidova Gora. Yesterday, Marin said this is a very hard ride. 3 to 4 hours up a steep hill. He said many people get a taxi to the top and ride down. Glad we aren't attempting that today. Having the car means ...

... the owner of the accommodation. He says it is too hard to explain. He will walk 10 mins to the port and show us the way. In the car he takes us in a wide loop around the town of Supertar and down narrow lanes to his house. The cycle tour has booked us into private 'apartments' in private homes. The room is dark, cold and not very welcoming, so different to the places I have booked for us. The agency is obviously making lots of commission on these places as they ...
