    ... to where I started. The ferry had a 2 HP electric motor to pull it back and forth. We took lots of pictures. Then we were off to Bo's Hollow. Mom Lynn and son Mark seem to run the place. They have a "30's Gas station and a little village with a Barber shop, Post office, Telegraph office, General store, Jail and Smoke House that sold beef jerky. We took a tour of the property and shop were they restore Model A's. Right now Dave is working on restoring a Vicky. ...

    ... city: it was 96 degrees today and the ice cream shop was closed. Crazy, no? Free parking though, which might be enough to redeem them.

    From there it was off to Defiance, Missouri, which is approximately 25 miles upstream from St. Charles. This is where DB spent the last years of his life. The home where he lived for the last few years and where he died (three weeks before his 86th birthday) ...

    ... From there we walked a few blocks and bought tickets for the Cardinals and Pirates game later that evening before returning to the parking lot. Our van was still there and nothing was harmed. It even still had it's one lone hubcap.

    ... of the place and my oh my up comes my dinner, I have never seen a crab with legs that long! It was awesome, have put a piccie up to show you as it was so unbelievable, came served with jacket potato and asparagus. They give you nut crackers to open them up and it certainly didn’t take me long to get the hang of it, and it probably was the best meal I’ve had so far, very yummy indeed.
