    ... Lake Champlain lighthouse before taking the 9N all the way down the length of Lake George. Ate a good meal at Barnsider, called Hampton Inn and they were booked solid so we tried the Wingate by Wyndham. What a great choice. Best hotel we stayed in the whole time.     We decided a boat ride would be a great way to see Lake George. Our boat was named Mohican, and gave us a great ride around the lake. The lake is 32 miles long as has lots of history. We were surprised at how populated the lake is with homes and just how popular the lake is for boaters.
