Travelled by fast Cat ferry from Cebu City to Bohol Island that has been seriously effected by first a earthquake then the super typhoon. The Filipinos should organise it better so that not everyone is in the sea at the same time. So I think it was bad organisation really. It was pretty easy to get to Bohol. It just took a bit of time...A boat took us from Siquijor to Dumeguete (third visit) and then on to Tagbilaran in Bohol. Very straight forward and with the boat being a fast air conditioned container showing a film it felt more like being on a plane ride. Right then, so , up early today to explore the island of Siquijor !! See what this island is all about and if it's as good as a few people have told us!
The plan of the day is rent a couple of bikes,to drive round the whole island, and the places to visit are: a church made of coral, the town of San Juan, some caves and a waterfall. Keeping our fingers crossed that the weather is going to be nice!
