Our next Phillipine island hop was to Bohol, Panglao, and Balicasag Islands. Bohol is a huge island with a big port city call Tagbilaran and Panglao island is a smaller island just south of Bohol. We stayed on Panglao on a touristy beach called Alona Beach at a dive resort. From there we did a day trip to a tiny atoll reef island called Balicasag island. The waters around the island ...

It was so interesting to watch village life, we went into some tiny little shacks that sold food and everybody was staring at us and saying hello. Everyone is always so friendly here. We got to the beach but it was deserted. We watched children catching tiny fish in rock pools and playing on a boat. ...

Traveling today to Dumaguete which is an hour (by flight) south. Fairly straight forward travel today, well it should have been. After saying goodbye to the relatives we arrived at the airport to be told that even though we had the booking form, passports etc. because we didn't have the credit card that we originally booked the flight with on us, we had to purchase another two tickets and then request a refund back from the Philippine Airline office. For ...
