It was an early start the following day, out at 5:30 to do a boat trip to a few of the surrounding islands and hopefully a chance to see some dolphins. Within 10 minutes of setting sail we was joined by around 15 other boats, we thought that there being so many boats that we would have no chance of seeing any but we was hugely mistaken! We saw loads! Lots of different Groups of up 20 or more dolphins and they was everywhere, some out in ...

    Now I ...

After about a 3 and a half hour bus ride (this time in air con!), I got off at my stop in Oslob for the whale shark watching. I got there at around 7:30am, and was in the water by 8am. What was going on here is a little ridiculous from an outsiders point of view, but I guess to the locals it's the easiest way for them to make money. The way it works is you get charged an initial "park fee" of 50 pesos, then hop into a small little ...

... told me to have met many on the seabed together with other huge fishes
Since the sanctuary was near the island I landed for a visit
There are a few resorts and the beach that surrounds it to 360 degrees and a red and blue plastic pontoon
After lungh at a little restaurant on the island,
we went to a second place further offshore, interesting for divers but not for me snorkeler
so I relaxed on the boat talking to the driver ...
