      Island day from Phuket

... get heavier and heavier until it was pouring when we left that beach! We still had another snorkelling spot and beach but we had to skip it cause the weather was too bad. We did stop off to kill some time but it was pretty crazy! This island had a nice food area and a tonne of lounge chairs but we were off again within 10 minutes cause there was a storm coming (we thought that was obvious)! We managed to get some food and have a pee ...

Hi everyone welcome to Nai Yang which is northern Phuket not far from the bridge which you can cross and be in Bangkok.

Nai Yang is completely different to Patong up here its really quiet not a lot of hotels and its right in the middle of Sirinat National Park right on the coast line with some really amazing views across the bay and also has two Coral Reefs and two massive sandbanks on either end of the bay. The area around the bay and the bay itself where hit ...

... there is nothing to worry about and it is such a beautiful country.

We popped our wakeboarding cherries and had great fun at the cable park, although getting advice from a 12 year old is a little humbling! We ran around the beautiful national park that surrounds Nai Yang, watched beautiful sunsets whist eating fresh fish and made friends with a one eyed dog.

After seven months it is time to come back to the first world. It has been a blast, thanks Phippsy. ...

Who would have ever thought you could get sick of shopping? Yeah just a tiny bit over it, I guess because shopping is such hard work. You can't just browse and pick what you want in air conditioned comfort (we are so spoilt in Oz) but you have to search and then haggle in the heat. I'm a wussy, sorry but I like air conditioned comfort. Out and about today in 33 degrees and some of the Thai people have jackets and pants on - what the? We jumped in ...

      BAN JAN FOOD DIARY

      ... ever.
We thought we weren't picky eaters, until we were planted into the middle of a jungle, unable to buy any food.

      Thursday 15th August
      Breakfast: Nothing.. shocker.
Lunch: All the usual suspects; white rice, fish, chicken feet. We were introduced to a little treat that was actually really yummy; pumpkin was sooo nice. No jokes.

The headteacher at the school explained that Vietnamese food is worse than Thai... please God/Buddha help us.
