... really get in without a private yacht. So each end of the bay represents 2 different class extremes, and the middle is a strip of fast-food, retail shopping, and over-priced family restaurants. I stuck mostly to the old town, as it had more character and energy...but after a day I was good to go. There wasn't really anything to keep me interested, and I was looking forward to the laid-back style of Puerto Escondido.

      Sailing down the Mexico Coast

Today we spent the day sailing down the coast of Mexico. From our map, we are off the coast of Acapulco. No port stops today as we are heading to Guatamala, which takes two nights and two days sailing to arrive. The waters are very calm and the sailing very smooth. We are both very relaxed and Johnny is enjoying the variety of foods on board.

Someone quoted that this looks like a Salma Hayek ...

... away – got pretty hammered and the whole night only cost a couple of quid! The reason of visiting Malinalco, was that Alex had a friend there which meant we could stay the night for free. Was not expecting that place to be so nice though :P

Had basically a mansion with palm trees and a swimming pool in the garden, with a mountain backdrop. It belonged to Alex’s friend’s boss, but he was away for the week, so we were able to use it, under the lie that we ...

We had a 5 hr wait in Acapulco for our overnight bus to Puerto Escondido. Both keen to see the famous cliff divers and not too sure how it would happen. But a lovely little mexican taxi driver Orlando took us under his wing and chauffeured us around for 4 hrs all for $20. Tourism in Acapulco has really suffered following the floods and people bombard you everywhere you go with 2 for 1 deals with accommodation and ...
