    ... one day visiting the Elephant Nature park. We wanted to see some elephants but there are some awful reports about the treatment of elephants at some of the farms and at some of them you can watch an elephant performance, dancing etc, which quite frankly is just wrong. So we found the nature park where we were able to feed and bathe the elephants and generally just get up close to them.     ... humid, meaning I finally broke down and took a room with air-conditioning. It's a great resort literally right on the beach and for 1000 Baht per night I have a lovely room and bathroom and a/c and free breakfast...probably the nicest place I've been at this whole trip.
