    ... and made quick time through the rolling hills. Hogback Mountain Gift shop gave us a place to stop for a picture and an ice cream cone. We were disappointed that the Concord, New Hampshire Walmart prohibited overnight parking but just a short ways down the road we found a roadside picnic area for a night of boondocking.

    ... the way up, we started to notice small patches of snow and ice that remained on the ground. Being late April and actually fairly warm, we were a bit surprised but pleased at the novelty - to the extent that we took a photo of Nay holding a chunk of icy snow.     ... right near the climbing area. Their pizzas were sooo yummy. We went to this place two nights in a row and both times there was live music. What a lovely two evenings out.
