    As I was saying, had to leave San Diego early to avoid the storms, so set off very early on Saturday morning. Thankfully, it's off season in Palm Springs, so it was easy booking an extra night at The Hacienda. The drive was really nice. Stopped at a very pretty town before I hit the desert.     ... jokingly asked me if there were really leprechauns! I said not that I know of, but if I saw any I would email her! Beside this museum was Ruddy's General Store showing vintage packages of cereal, canned goods, cleaning supplies and tobacco.

    ... Coachella is the home also of the fabulous music festival, The Coachella Music Festival, held in April. The headliners this year are The Rolling Stones. We hope to be long gone from the area by then. And it is VERY expensive, costing upwards of $1000 a piece for what I believe is a three-day event.
