    ... people I saw-I felt safe and happy and smiles were always reciprocated which holds such value when you are far from home. My hostel was wicked cool and I will go back there. My only regret with Bangkok is that I couldnt stay longer. But I wouldn't trade coming home for anything in the world right now. The big bird is boarding now. We were supposed to leave 5 mins ago but Beyer late than never. Touch down in chch...13.5 hours ...

    ... We got there and found that it also sold food. I had a spaghetti carbonara (same as last night) and dad had pad thai. Dad had his coffee and I had a lime slushie. After that we went to the ice skating rink, it wasn't that big but it was still fun! The only problem was that not all of the ice was the same there was a slippery area and a non slippery area and lots of bumps.     ... asked how much and they had a set price of 700 bht.....no way in the world was I paying that when TripAdvisor members said the max would be 400 bht.....politely refused and saw an information desk, the ladies advised me to follow the yellow line to the taxi stand, here you are directed into a line and given a voucher explaining that taxis are metered in town and there is an additional 50 bht fee on top for tolls etc.
