    First week Bangkok !!

    ... was just ibnsane. Matt and Nathan even payed a lap dance for me ! Which was really great fun ! Then in the morning they went to the airport and left to Malaysia, and i went back and slept the whole day ! The next day we walked around and took buses to different places around Bangkok, and tomorrow we will be leaving to Koh Phangan to make it for the worldwide known half moon party in the jungle !! I wil tell you all about it !!

    ... moving even a cm. No rooftop bar for us tonight - sadly we have flights to catch. Our hero of a taxi driver manages to get us to a metro station, from which we quickly get to the area of our hotel. And as we exit the station it dawns on us why we were stuck in standstill traffic for the past hour and a half - the reason is something that faintly reminds us of rain. Except it’s more like a flood. And it has apparently been going on for about 5 hours, so there is no point ...

    ... by the night train. An experience by itself, although I didn't get much sleep because my jaw showed an infection. Leaving the train I stop for a minute to make a picture of the special atmosphere here. When I want to move on, Sunny signs me to stay foot. I look around and everybody is standing right where they were, while the song of the nation is played on cranky speakers. After it's finished people just move on. Weird to witness.     ... on the top floor with great views and lounge access with complimentary cocktails and canapes in the evening, Very nice! The swimming / infinity pool was amazing also.

    We had a few jobs to do on Wednesday and we managed to get the ball rolling on our visas for Myanmar pretty easily. The embassy was only 100m down the street from the hotel! A bit of luck rather than planning that so we strolled down, filled out a few forms and left ...

    Power cables decorate the street like tangled streamers decorating the wall of a party.
    Which is actually quite a good metaphor for the city, it does feel like a party.
