On The Way to Khatt
Khatt is a place in RAK, located northeast of RAK, United Arab Emirates. The emirate of Ras Al Khaima is quiet, peaceful and they have preserved the culture and tradition of the Emiratis, although they are open to changes and the whole city is slowly adopting to the demands of the modern world. But much has to be worked on to keep up with the pace of Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

... The walk through the airport was LONG – no subway like Atlanta. Passport control was long but easy – no visa needed for UAE. The bag search was very easy too compared to the Gestapo in the US – sucks being an international target. I then went to the duty free to get Hilal a gift – the stuff there really is inexpensive without the tax. My bags were way at the other end so more walking to get the bags and then ...
