Today we drove up to Auckland to catch a 1am flight to Thailand,via Kuala Lumpur. It was a big day but made easier by having a few hours relaxing in a hotel in Auckland before departing.

From Koh Phangan, I traveled by boat to Phi Phi and then to Ko Lanta, which is close by. In Phi Phi I enjoyed a full day boat cruise. On the cruise I visited Bamboo Island, monkey island (although this monkey island actually has monkeys on it...unlike monkey island in koh rong!) did some snorkeling which was a bit freaky as the fish were right next to my face and also visited where the film "The Beach" was made.
