As everyone knows Bali is the Island of the Gods... Well they don't seem to like me at the moment! For the last 10 years we have relied on our own water supply from our well. Not for drinking but showers toilets and to water the gardens. So the well is now bone dry! Not because of climate change global warming too many users but because the morons across the road are building a new Hotel and had to dewater the ...

It's very warmy here so lots of drinking both water and that other stuffs and we had a nice evening meal by the beach a bit more wandering then home now for the night...its been a big day with too many dramas so it's good night from balmy Bali.

The ridiculous thing is it's probably cleaner than many places I ate in 7 years ago when I came to Bali and many other places across the world and some of the glossy hotels who may not really have such glossy kitchens. Anyway, the long and short of it is we've decided 2 weeks here is too long anyway. If we were both amazing surfers sans baby then it would be perfect but it's not the kind of waters Rafe can paddle in ...

We were up early to catch our flight to Flores for our 2 day Rinca Island/Komodo trip. We watched the sunrise and had a dog friend hang out with us. Then the long drive to the airport, which we made in record time, because our driver was late. He was funny. He impersonated Australians, always having Bintang (the local Pilsner beer), "hey mate", etc, and sang a song he said came from ...
