... peaceful spot on the lake seemed impossible to get until we found a hill on one
of the islands, less people seemed so keen on leaving the paths around the islands and lake, preferring to stick in their groups so we exited up a tree covered hill and found some peace in the pagodas on top, no view because of the afore mentioned trees but a peaceful few minutes at least. Once we settled in we headed straight to West Lake were we enjoyed a nice walk through a tiny part of the park to have lunch. The lunch was nothing special however we did have some Dragon Well Tea which is famous for the area. The tea house was quite nice and had ...

Later in the afternoon after school had finished we met our host student and then it was off to spend the weekend with our host families.
