Grey skies and about 19 degrees today, so not cold. I would say at least half the shops and restaurants are closed up for winter, and probably hotels too. We are the last guests at this hotel.

A much needed break in Bodrum

... beautifully all day and I have again congratulated us on planning this break at this point in the trip.

In the late afternoon, as the wind picked up and the sun started to go down, we headed into Bodrum again - this time with a bit of energy to shop. But in the end, it was much more fun just wandering the town and looking than actually buying anything. Beautiful jewellers are next door to tacky souvenir shops and copy watches and handbags are everywhere. I saw a beautiful ...
