Villas Bavaro Punta Cana

Hello!!
I am Bianca Roldan and I would like to share with you my new experience in the DR.
You will never finish to discover it.....the beach, the sun, the coconuts...all is fantastic....and people much more! ahhh...they are amazing.
I stayed just for one week but it is enough time for be part of the Dominican spirit.
I went to Saona Island and I met a lot of friends, local and internation...we enjoyed ...

... are terrible. Fact #4: They love hearing you stumble your way through broken Spanish, and also love trying to learn English as well.

This place is unlike anything I have ever experienced. I tried to do it justice here, but be sure to check out the pictures to get a better idea of how awesome it actually is.

I go to bed feeling fantastically restored, thank God for Domincan independence and all of its natural beauty and wonderful people.

... back to the present: so the girls and I grab a beer at the Club and I meet the boys from the study abroad group. By the way there are 4 girls, 4 guys...kinda Real World style.

At 8pm go to dinner at a restaurant in the resort, which provides us with a limited menu covered under my lodging fee at the EF. The hotel/resort area is absolutely ridiculous. It has a lobby that is covered but open to the outdoors (no doors ...

Fui en el autobus a el Parque Nacional del Este. Fui a acampar en el parque y fui a pescar en el agua. Fui a subir en las arboles. Fue a estar fenomenal. Fui a ver los animales. Muchos iguanas en la Republica de Dominicana. La Republica de Dominicana tiene muchos animales. En el Parque Nacional del Este, fui a comer bocadillos.

... and didn't seem to focus on US too much when they came to our table. They were very talented musicians and took requests. I enjoyed both their music and the piano player who played later. After dinner, Sara and I had one drink at the bar downstairs, hoping the saxophone player/keyboardist would come back to play another set (we heard them on the way in), but they were on break or possibly done for the night. Back home and to bed, another relatively early night.

... tried to learn how to windsurf. We also went swimming with sea lions, a highlight for me. It was a great trip, although the last day and the few days after were unfortunately ruined by both of us getting pretty sick...Montezuma's Revenge claimed its latest victims!

... sure I will not feel out of place again...I learned a lot of lessons after this trip - I'd say that is the only savings grace...

I know I won't stay at another Club Med - very disappointed in it. And despite my horrible time I cannot really blame DR for the bad time, as I didn't even leave the resort - but the bad taste has been left and I will just never go back!

... range - early 20s - so the staff kept hovering around us. Male employees mostly, which made us extremely uncomfortable. Constantly making inappropriate comments, always trying to talk to us, eying us up and down - really did not make for an enjoyable time.

The food also started to become monotonous and was not very good...and then the trip really started to go down hill.

... so I was ill prepared.

My roommate suggested that we try a club med - she had heard about them before and people seemed really happy going to them - she also liked the all-inclusive idea, which lets face it, I did too.

I flew out of Newark International and my roommate flew out of Charlotte...we were going to meet at another airport and then take the same flight to Dominican Republic. Her flight got delayed and the airline ...
