... hundreds and hundreds of pieces of pottery, it was great fun and the kids were trying to find the best bit of course.
We have been invited for Xmas drinks and canapé at a local ex-pat couple this Saturday which sounds like fun. The community have been very welcoming since we arrived and with only a couple of thousand winter inhabitants you can't go a street without saying hello to someone.
Today we went into town to buy some food and bumped into Panyota who does the gardening where we are staying, she is a lovely Greek lady who speaks good English. We some how got chatting about mushrooms and she offered to take us foraging sometime. Well there is no time like the present so we hired a car and off we went to forage.

... time outside which is probably why I have been a little lazy on the blog. We are all well and have hired a car again to see more of the island, there is a beach called Kokinacastra which is pretty special. We have been eating well and are planning on hiring a car once a week to do a big shop and see different parts of the island each week.

Well it has been a few days in the life of the Badger Family and we have just been milling about around Patitiri on the whole. We did bump into Dawn who is the lady who manages the villa for Chris, she was walking her dog (Cassie) and asked if we wanted to take her later in the day to Chrisi Milia Beach for another walk. Anyway we decided to hire a car today and go and visit the Mamma Mia church and one of the beaches they filmed on. The drive to the church is quite hair raising to say the least, there are so many rock falls on the road pushing you onto the opposite side of the road where there is a shear drop off the road.
