    ... the jeep and followed the bike course from the triathlon. Holy Hill time! It was un-freaking- believable! The Jeep had a hard time climbing some of the hills!! I have always respected what these athletes have done, but now that I have seen the course I can only ask, Why? Why the hell would you torture yourself like this? You call this fun? There are professionals that can help you with this problem you know!?!

    Day 147 - Today we met up with Harold and Sue (from our Alaska Trip) and had a great lunch at a local restaurant. We were in and out of rain, but we had a great long lunch.

    ... the guys might want to do some hiking with the dogs, but it was getting late and our experience in the redwoods has whetted our appetite for serious hiking, at least for awhile.     ... cold bevies and started climbing the dunes looking for the best hill to board down. These things could really use a chair lift up them! Hiking uphill in sand is hard work!! Talk about a leg workout! Ryan was a bit more excited than me for this sand boarding adventure, well I was excited too but just a little nervous about my knee.
