... from the UK. When we returned to the "public" beach we found that it cost $2 Euro each to use the 30 foot wide access to the beach....with only about that much space at the beach front. Other beachs cost closer to $12 Euro we did like our find.
There were two little Egyptian boys playing and we got a kick out of them and their families.

... I would be more than happy to stay awhile. It's hard to believe that in 2004 a terrorist drove a truck into the lobby of this hotel and detonated a bomb, killing 34 and injuring hundreds. Not incidentally, we go through several layers of security to get into the hotel. But I doubt the place is much of a target now, seeing we're about the only guests here.

... of the afternoon I took a taxi into town. The wifi at the hotel still wasn't working and I really needed to check a few things out (and let people know I was still alive). The taxi dropped me off in Naama Bay, Sharm's lively tourist centre. At least, that's what it is known as. When I arrived however, things were pretty quiet. Must be the time of day, I thought. ... but still very beautiful. And then came the Adriatic Sea, which was the best of everything, as we flew along the whole Dalmatian coast, amazing with the thousands of islands and the clear waters. ... polyester material. And he has to work, all day, in the sun, in that dreadful outfit. omg. I don't envy him.
Wandering to the end of the boulevard; which is about 10 minutes of shredding my heel. Now this is fun! Why did I wear these? Plaster. aka bandaid. it is in my purse. There is no graceful way to do this.
No idea if we are catching a cab, a bus, a friend meeting us. Another joy of just up and having an adventure.
