Serai-ed in Chickamagalur Day 1
This was a great weekdays' trip to Chikmagalur. The idea was an do-nothing relaxing day(s) out there in Serai. Before booking , I was so reluctant because of the weather. It was raining cats and dogs the previous week. We had no activity planned but atleast to use the swimming pool - the private pool , we prayed for a good weather. As luck would have it , this was one of our great trips.

This morning we left Mysore, 4 and a half hour bus northwest to Hassan, not a lot to report other than getting to Hassan after a hot and crowded bus ride!! Hassan is an industrial town by the looks of it, granite and stone factories everywhere and factory units under construction popping up everywhere, and the an impressive, grand city bus stand that we pulled into looked better suited to somewhere like Dubai ...
