... photo. Sadly Kevin (the father of the bride) was also sick at that time and missed some of the wedding reception.
On the Thursday we went out for a ‘James Bond’. That’s a ride in a speed boat, James Bond style and then a snorkel on the reef which although good, with many colourful fish was not a patch on GBReef as all the coral is dead. Maybe there are other areas away from the heavily ...
My last trip to DR turned out to be a wedding in Punta Cana. Don't get me wrong, the location was beautiful. I stayed at the Wyndham Resort and the beach was to die for. They had a pool area and live entertainment at night. The actual wedding on the other hand was questionable. I mean, if your going to do a beach wedding, and a destination wedding at that, make sure your doing it on a private beach. I ...
So today I got a Day Pass at
the IFA...four Miami Beach's, three Loco Coco's,two Long Island Ice
Tea's and two shots of Mamajuana with breakfast and lunch...$35! Watched
an intense Water Polo game, flirted with two German ladies who spoke
great English and FINALLY made contact with pretty much the ONLY resort
My family loves to travel since we're all so busy with work and school during the rest of the year. That being said, we only go on one trip per year but this time we wanted to do something a little different, so we took a trip for Christmas instead of having the traditional Christmas at home; and what's better than a Christmas on a nice warm beach for a week!
This being said, because its Christmas time it's a little ...

Historical Traveler Reviews Sirenis Tropical Suites Punta Cana
How About Antonio?
We were at Sirenis the first week of March, 2003. I just want to say that we had a blast! A special thanks to Antonio for his attention, salsa lessons and his performance in "Cats"... what a great staff of people. Energy to burn and a smile for everyone. There was so much to do all the time.... the food was fine and if you are fussy you can still find something to eat. I just want to add that there was no way to improve our vacation, except to let us stay longer. Be sure to chat with Gabby and Edwardo and arrange a henna tatoo.... they are super accommodating! Also turn left and go shop at Maria's shop! She was super to us! The Candian Girls:)
What a beautiful property!
I completely loved my vacation at this hotel. The food is IMPECCABLE. They always have fresh, and different food every night. The beach is super clean, and gorgeous. There are many activities, and the animation was okay. I enjoyed it, but however, they repeat the animation after a week. I can't complain. The staff was super nice, and so were the waiters, the maids... so on. But i don't have one complaint about this hotel. Even the pools were spotless (mind you, even the bathrooms) I loved the suits. It was so cute and clean! I am going back to this hotel this year. I have been to many...many hotels in cancun, and in punta cana. And this, is my ultime favorite! If you want a great vacation, trust me go to sirenis hotels.
I was at the Sirenis Resort 2weeks ago for the March break and it was AMAZING. I had a blast, I went with my friend(were both 16) and her family. Everyone there was so nice! The Animation crew Mimi, Francis, Jimmy, Robert, Antonio, Juan, Andres,Angelica,Lina were GreAt!!! They got my friend and I involved in everything and always made you laugh. The Entertainment people Daisy, Nicole, the captian, and Jurison-very good looking! were really good and always made the show funny. The DJ's were really good and played great music! When we were there, there was a boy band singing they were really good better in Spanish though(and one was really hot!) The rooms were really nice and big but half the time we weren't in them, the food was ok we pretty much only ate fries and pizza, drank bottled water. The pool bar tender Fransico was really nice! The resort was really kept really clean and the beach was beautiful. I dont think i've had so much FUN in my life i miss it SO much and i wish i didn't have to leave! (and get involved with the activities it makes it even funner). Overall it was an AMAZING trip and i would go back to the resort many times.
I was just at sirenis last week, march break! I loved it, as did everyone i went with. Reading these reviews i was a little scared that the nite life would be non existent, but it was great. The staff there made our trip! Soo friendly, people like Andres, Daniel, Francisco, Francis, Jimmy, Robert, Antonio, and the Micheal Jordon look a like, were so much fun! 24hr a day, the staff is at work... the place is beautiful, rooms are huge, and kept clean, food is great, and the entertainment was great too! The shows were hilarious to watch! They also had a boy band preform for 4 of the nights, they were amazing! The spanish songs better then the english!I loved my vacation, and am planning on giong back to sirenis in august!
We had a wonderful time in Punta Cana, the hotel was great, the entertainment was superb, the food was fantastic. Arriving at the hotel is like walking into paradise very clean. The beach was the best warm water gental breeze no problems at all. We took our children (18 & 20) they also had a great time no complaints for a full week!!!
The sirenis hotel was awsome. the people were exceptionally nice lik everything else there. I had been to another resort in Punta Cana a month before and there was no comparison. Ceasar the lobby bartender was one of the nicest peole i have ever met.
I had to write this review as this was the most perfect vacation of our lives. As stated above , We are moving to Punta Cana. This resort was amazing. The people where above assistive and made us feel like we where family. I am a Dental Nurse and I plan on doing alot of helping when we move down. The food was the way food should be, without preserves and all natural. The suite we had was kept to perfretion, and when we did have a plumbing problem , the maintnence was at our suite almost as soon as I hung up the phone. As for the grounds, if you love too see pink flamingos and peacock's , then you should definatly be here. The stores at the front of the grounds gave us MORE than exceptional deals. Upon having some jewelry appraise on arrival home, we where pleasantly surprised to find out that our purchases where in some cases worth over 10 times the amount paid.We loved it, Baby! Paradise on earth
It was the best hotel i have ever stayed in, and it was the best holiday i have ever had. I am a lady who went there with two children aged 14 & 11 and we normally go to Florida or Canaries just after Cristmas every year. This year I booked a late deal and ended up at the Sirenis Hotel, My childrens faces when they saw the white sands and the blue sea made my holiday. It is a great resort for children and they made lots of new friends from Canada. It was also the safest and freindliest place i have ever been. I would recommend the Outback safari as the best trip, the guide were fantastic. My Children never want to go back to Florida, infact I have all ready booked again for next year at the Sirenis Tropical.
The SIRENIS TROPICAL SUITES and the SIRENIS COCOTAL are the same place. They are mirror images. The Cocotal has rooms (very large) the Tropical has suites. It is a very nice resort. We went Dec 7-14. We stayed at the suites, close to the beach. They were doing renovations on the pool when we were there. We stayed in room S102. If you can get this room, its wonderful. This hotel is about 1 hour from the airport. We arrived late at night around midnight. The people working on the front desk were not very friendly. They were like that most of the trip, until the last day. There was a nice young girl that brought us some orange juice while we checked in. When asking the staff about our tour operator they were confused as to who the tour operator was that worked from the hotel. We were sent on a wild goose chase one day, in 100 degree weather, we were not very happy about it. Everything closed at midnight there. They had snacks in a warmer. Every night we went for a snack it was the same thing..toasted bread with sauce, meat and cheese. The bartender at the pool swim up bar was wonderful. He was the best part of the whole vacation. He worked all the time we were there from 10am-4pm. He was so cute..to bad he was getting married, I would have brought him home..haha, just kidding. The exercise room had no windows, just cut outs for windows. The excercise room was more like a hut without windows. You play tennis across the road from the exercise area. Most of the staff were friendly down at the pool bars and restaurant. The staff in the main dining area were much to eager to take your plates when you weren't finished eating. There are little shops within walking distance. I don't know for sure because we didn't go into town, but someone told me a cab ride into town and back cost around $75.00 usd. If you walk up the beach there are some little huts that sell clothing, pictures, cigars...etc..at a good price. I would go back to give it another try. It was good all in all, except for the front desk staff. Hopefully they have changed!
Loved it! Everything was perfect!
Hotel and beach (private) were exceptionally clean, staff and service was excellent and the food was amazing! We had a perfect vacation!
