We actually had a movie night tonight…we’ve been holding onto a Netflix movie, Winter’s Bone, for a few weeks now and finally had a chance to watch it. While it wasn’t a feel good movie by any means, we both really enjoyed it. It was almost 1am by the time we finished it, so we crawled into bed and slept until 8:30am.

We packed up camp, then went and found our first geo cache for the day. Which was on the way to a lookout to the river so we headed down to take a look and snap a few pictures. There was a lot of fisherman out in the river. Then we were on our way for the day. We stopped and looked at the dam on our way out, we had crossed over it at night when we came in but couldn't see anything. Then stopped at a store in the first town ...

Bob & Marcia took us on a tour of Mountain Home and we ended up at Bull Shoals Dam - a dam on the White River built by the Army Corps of Engineers in 1951. The purpose of the dam was to prevent flooding and generate electricity. Pretty impressive! We watched a short film about the dam and toured the Visitor's Center. Very interesting.

... chastised for being noisy. The one thing I remember about my cousin Bob is that when he gave you a certain look, you knew to run as far and as fast as you could. We didn't stick around to feel the consequences of "the Bobby look." He and my brother Gary used to terrorize us girl cousins a bit but we knew they loved us. At least, I think so.
