Puerto Vallarta, Durango, Mexico exploravallarta... prepare ourselves with water bottles and a backpack to do the same.

Michael still has to grade papers, so the plan is to use the internet café on shore for a nominal fee so he can finish uploading and sending in his grades for an hour or so. It is a bargain at 3$ for an hour, much cheaper than what we have aboard ship. While he does his grading and posting, I visit the parrots, then settle into bench in the shade. It is quite pleasant, and if it ...

Puerto Vallarta, Pacific Coast, Mexico peterhbudd... to U.S citizens but also to anyone who has ever used Microsoft Windows. He says that's what you are agreeing to whenever you click on "Accept" without reading it. He also tells me the only acceptable phrase now is "ECONOMIC DOWNTURN", and that it's not worth mentioning anyway since he's taken care of it. He says to trust him, he's just finished spending millions, billions actually, on stuff that will fix it right up. What stuff? Lots of stuff. Big ...
Rincon de Guayabitos, Pacific Coast, Mexico dinojay2... to be able to be a part of this important event. The following words from Ana regarding the clinic and the association with La Casa de Los Ninos: "The space and location were perfect, contributing to the sucess of the spay/neuter clinic. Almost 60 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens were fixed in 3 days! Imagine how the long term numbers of unwanted animals will be reduced in the future! The added bonus this time was that the community children were able to directly ...
Lo de Marcos, Mexico lacasa... the water. Seems pointless to us since as soon as they are up on their feet the wave they were riding has disappeared. Nice little campground in this town but the ocean drops off too quickly to safely take Haley in for a swim. Walked to the next cove over yesterday. Calmer waters which meant Haley was able to go for a swim. The day we arrived was ...
Sayulita, Mexico koncur... least and had lunch at the beach bar (almost $20 CAD for 1 hamburger and 2 cokes). In the afternoon she stayed in the room and I went for a long walk - all the way to Paradise Village which is a little shopping mall. The Flamingos is a gorgeous resort but is in the middle of nowhere. No outside place to eat, no nearby bar or mini-super. Nada. There is lots of construction going on but still lots of land available, too ...
Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico gclarke_99... at an all inclusive resort right on the beach. I was lucky to get a huge room with an view of the ocean. It was even more transparent than in Trinidad, and the sand was even finer. It is the tropical beach of your dreams!!! I spent my days scuba diving and relaxing at the beach. I spoke with man Cubans during my visit to see where they stood on the conditions in their country. I heard both sides of the story.....there were Cubans that swore nothing but ...
Bucerias, Mexico dolphintherapy... and swimming pool with an incredible high view overlooking Banderas Bay. I'll include a little video clip of this view. We heard about the Casa Sombrero from our friends Rande and Karen Marjoram. Rande is a Calgary Firefighter, who works with Rob, and Karen's mom Enid and her stepdad Christopher are the owners of the Casa Sombrero. Rande and Karen have been here several times and had told us about this neat place. It is an eclectic and old building. It is very Mexican and fits ...
