Had to leave the Amazing island of Gilli T today, very sad. No doubt we will be back some time in the future as we have fallen in love with the island! Headed to Ubud, the cultural artsy part of Bali, explored a little bit of the Vast markets today! Busy busy busy!! Getting a tad bored with the limited food options though, have ...

I parked my car and made my way to the reception where the receptionist informed me that the next tour would be in 10 minutes. I thanked her, and paid the amount due for the tour. I took a bus from Sanur to Ubud, which was hot and slow but short, so painless.
At the bus terminal I met a motorcycle taxi driver named Ketut who drove me to my hostel, plus I booked a tour with him for the next day.
I don't usually do tours, I had actually been excited to rent a motorbike and drive myself around, but Ketut had a great energy and smile, and I thought having a tour guide would be great to learn more about Hinduism (the main religion on Bali).
