I highly recommend if you are staying in Riviera Maya. All meals and room service and included. You could even just stay for a couple days for a nice bit of luxury. There were absolutely no problems and it was amazing. I would probably say this was the best hotel I've ever stayed in.

Chilled at a beach club for a while, but as we have some of the best beaches in the world it was a bit underwhelming. Funny laughing at the people turning lobster red. Cover up people - you won't be able to walk tomorrow!

We continued along the beach to town, passing boats offering snorkelling trips and the old lighthouse which still stands, despite being tilted by Hurricane Beulah in 1967.

The new plan is to go out for dinner in la Isla which has a new Indian restaurant. I manage to persuade Mike to come with us as he feels slightly better. I thought we would get a taxi to the hotel zone but, oh no, Mike says we have to get a combi and bus. Dressed in my new jumpsuit and ...

... along with pork, chicken or beef. It was classic culinary perfection that only those fortunate souls who enjoy grandmas cookin' combined with a Mexican street food vibe will ever be able to truly understand. This was the reason we had traveled all this way, to try this little old lady's empanadas at 8 am with local dock workers and no tourists in sight. The kind Mexican dive guides gladly showed us their preferred sauces to accompany the culinary magic that was ...

... for East Timor. Still it's all good fun. Saw some Brazilian ladies at the pool yesterday in their intsy bintsy bikinis. So now I understand the Brazilian - you would have to have one of those because there is precious little fabric in the clothing! They sure stand out those ladies and they were having a great time too! However unfortunately Petes illness has continued so today we went back to the hospital and put in a claim under our insurance. What a rigmarole - it's so easy ...
