After a ten-hour flight we got the shuttle to the hotel Ocean Coral H10 in Rivera Maya a half an hour drive from Cancun. The hotel is very nice was very nice with four Swimming pools and one having a swim up bar. We spent most days round the main swimming pool doing activities and having fun. In the evening we where going round the hotel see different types of entertainment and for dinner either Mexican, Italian, Chinese or Buffet. We did go out of the Hotel a few times and the funniest one h...

... crazy or what!
The next morning we signed up for a 1/2 day, 3 stop boat trip (see picture) to go snorkeling. The water is very clear and blue with may different types of fish, It was a great day!
Our last day we took a cab to the “Money Bar Beach” (I guess they call it that because the price of the drinks) and enjoyed a day of tanning and some snorkeling.
... Maple Leafs 3-0. Funny tthat we had to come all the way to Mexico to watch hockey. Karl ordered a beer and good fortune was on our side - it was 2 for 1! After the game we played a card game they translated for us as 'One'. Clever Karl figured out they were talking about Uno.
Settled in well and are off to Cuba today.
Puerto Morelos, Mexico surledep... LIKE PARROTS. HAVENÑT LOOKED THEM UP YET. TODAY I CAME DOWN TO TULUM WHICH IS ANOTHER OVERCROWDED RUIN RIGHT ON THE BEACH. I SPENT MOST OF THE TIME PLAYING IN THE ROCKS CHASING IGUANAS AND CRABS. AND NOT THE FUN CRABS EITHER. JUST ATE DESSERT AT A DELECTABLE LITTLE BAKERY. HAD A FLAN BAKED ON A GINGERBREAD CAKE. YUM YUM. HEADING TO BELIZE TOMORROW SO HASTA
PLAYA DE CARMEN, Mexico trolibus... captain and his assistant lent over on punched Juan in the face! Juan, just about kept his temper and kept us in the middle of the boat. The captain eventually made his way back to the marina, although we think he wasn´t sure exactly where it was as he went very slowly and approached the shore line a bit too early! When we got back and the boat was tied up the captains helper jumped off and so did Juan how immediately punched the ...
Cancun, Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico knotty... the beach. We hit the calmer waves first thing and then grabbed an umbrella and read a little. We walked to beach, grabbed some lunch, repeated the beach thing and then went to the pool for a bit. It really was a relaxing day. Later we discovered the swinging beds in the back of the hotel beside the other pool. The swinging beds were built underneath a pergola, which kept the hot sun to a minimum on your skin. We ...
Cancun, Mexico jaclynandchad... Playa del Carmen and Tulum i aint joking when i say you could be in America. In Cancun you can pay for everthing in dollars, speak only in English and eat at all your favourite american establishments. The architecture of the hotel region is truely American: the hotels huge, the roads wide, the shops in huge airconditioned malls and almost everyone is American. Its about as unMexican as you can get!! And what a week i landed in the 51st state of America - American ...
