We were so happy to have sand and a sea breeze and water that we didn't even care that it was small and seaweedy. We staked out a patch of sand under a shady palm tree and went to have a dip in the ocean. The Caribbean was warm.and blue and inviting, and though I'm not generally a beach person, today it was pretty close to perfection.

By then Sabrina is ready but I want a half hour nap and ask her to wake me up at the end of the Big Bang Theory episode she is watching. An hour later I wake up and Sabrina is sleeping. I wake her up saying we should grab dinner, but Sabrina - who is always ready to eat - says she is too tired, from all the alcohol she drank, and just wants to sleep.

So we watched one 2m shark lazily swim around us, keeping a wide berth, and occasionally gently picking up/hoovering the food off the sand floor, followed by sand coming out of his gills.
