    ... and after a walk into town,drop into the first restaurant we see on the front. Food was average at the pelicanos but the view and margarhitas were good. Night cap in an outdoor cocktail bar where we get introduced to some great sounds of a Brazilian female singer doing Bossa nova versions of everything from pink Floyd to soft cell. got to get that album.

    Day 8?

    Beach day with sun loungers (and brolly for me). Lots of time to think.

    ... Spanish I have ever spoken (desperate times,) saying that "I wasn't going to cause any trouble" and that all I wanted to do was sit on the lounger with my friends. He told me again that the only way was to pay $133 for a room, or they would charge Shell's room if I didn't leave. We told our sob story of how we hadn't seen each other in two years, and Shell kindly taking off her hotel bracelet for me to persuade him to let me ...

    ... people want you to believe is the country of Mexico. I walk with Arturo to his cab and see him off for his day.

    I returned to the apt for a shower and to get ready for my day of exploration. Only one problem, the apt has run out of water and Arturo had to make a phone call to let some one know we need more. Don't usually see this happen in the U.S. and when it did begin to work again, I had another problem.... How to get hot water?!?!? I tried a lot ...

    We found the cooking school, but unfortunately it was
    closed….so no cookbooks this trip.

    I think we have accomplished all that we set out to do on
    this trip. A week is short but I think I am ready to go home……..I miss
