The resort is as I expected, a bit dated but clean and with all the amenities and a beautiful beach.

      A Pit

Always short on service, from towels to bathrooms at the beach and everything else. The place is not what TNT said it was, certainly not a four star by any means. The nightly entertainment was stupid and foolish. The special restaurants that you could only visit 2 times within a week are nothing special and that leaves you attending the buffet of sour tasting foul smelling food. I did try to eat some of it but just couldn't, I didn't want to get sick and be the hands of a doctor? thanks. We will never go back here, the place is going down and I starved all week long....I lost weight in fact and it wasn't by my choosing. We crashed the hotel up the beach and got some decent food to eat, need I say more. DON'T GO !!

M First Trip To Dominician Republic

It was a beautiful hotel. The food had alot to be desired the speciality rest were good. But the dinner Buffet was not great all the food was old. Nothing was ever hot You would have to wait forever for a cup of coffee or a coke. They did not have enough help

      Knock 3 times

at arrival, we had to change rooms once, twice, three times! on our honeymoon and they supply us with a room with 2 single beds, then we moved to a room with two doubles!! we originally requested queen bed on the main level we rec'd neither bed and on the third floor weren't we off to a great start 3 la carte restaurants - we were only allowed to visit two drinks served til midnite - they started closing down at 11:30 pm a resort of that size - only 2 washroooms on the beach, one for men, one for women - and only one stall in each need we say more....stay elsewhere

      Clean, environmentally friendly

The Natura Park was as good as expected. Staff were all very friendly and loved my attempts at Spanish conversation. Clean room, hot water for showers are always appreciated. Should have used my bug spray in the evening. Only downside was the bathroom at the beach/pool. Certainly one toilet is not enough for such a large resort. Food was OK, although not wonderful, and repetitive by the end of the week. Unique healthy choices always available.

      Very good

A good hotel with pleasent staff. The beach it`s gorgeous but, the hotel could be better. We spent a nice time and the weather was fabulous. You will enjoy for sure. The food was all right at the buffet, and in the others restaurants good but not enough. Itīs a 4 * hotel.

      Expectations Met!

Resort was perfect for our week-long get-away. Excellent staff, well maintained property and grounds, rooms clean and spacious. By no means a 'luxury' resort but the food was above average (lots of choices, somewhat repetitive by the end of the week) the a la carte restaurants were good, especially Media Luna. The beach was clean, well serviced, but shady spots were claimed early in the morning (hint: save your spot before going to breakfast!). Pack plenty of beach wear and in the evenings resort casual ... nothing else required (bermuda shorts and shirts stayed in the suitcase!). Pack a thermos mug to avoid walking to the beach bar every 10 minutes for another six-ounce drink. And although they spray every evening for mosquitos ... bring your own additional repellent (ankles especially).

      Beautiful Grounds

The beach is sunny in the morning and spotty with sun in the afternoon as the palms run almost all the way to the water making a beautiful setting. There are plenty of nooks around the pool area to find sun and privacy. Service in the ala carte dining areas is excellent as is the food. There is a plentiful selection at the buffets; even picky eaters are able to find something. Because it is so tropical, bring bug spray. The resort does take measures in spraying however, the mosquitos and bugs may still get into your room. Natural for the area. The grounds are beautiful witn numerous ponds, foilages and geese/birds/flamingos, etc.

      Staff and grounds are fabulous

My friend and I took a "girls getaway" vacation to get some R&Rform our husbands. This resort was so clean. Our room was gigantic. We had a suite, one king bed and a day bed, two bathrooms, two closets etc. The food was good, but have had better. The weather was more humid than I would have expected. The sun shined everyday. There were very few Americans and most of the population were either Spanish or German. If you are looking for rest and relaxation, I would highly recommend this resort.

We met couples from Belgium and it was rated 5 stars in Europe but only 4 in the US. I would give it 5 stars.

      Natura Parl resort and spa

I recently went with a few friends to the Natura Park resort and spa. We had a fabulous time! I definitely plan to be a repeat customer, I hope to go back again next year. You do need to be aware the need to only drink bottled water; even the staff of NP only drink that. But that's for wherever you go in Punta Cana, it's not a reflection on the resort. The resort is beautiful, and I like the fact that they are environmentally friendly. Not many Americans there, but I didn't find a problem with that at all. The staff all speak English, and are very helpful. We had a wonderful time!

      Wonderful vacation

My husband and I have stayed at Natura Park March 2001 and August 2001. Apple Vacations took care of everything -- basically all we had to do is show up at the airport to depart! We arrived in Punta Cana and were guided onto an air conditioned bus that we rode to the resort. It is a beautiful resort, very eco-friendly, with beautifully maintained grounds. The room was very nice, with air conditioning and a ceiling fan, lots of mirrors and drawer space, a television and a mini-barthat was always stocked. The floors are tiled, the bathroom was very nice and clean, and every room had a balcony/patio area. The pillows are a little on the slender side and the beds were too firm for my liking, but I was always so tired after a day in the sun that I didn't really notice. The food is good and we never had a problem with getting sick although we did only drink bottled water and not tap water. The beach is nice and the water is clear and ideal for casual snorkeling. We would advise people bring their own snorkeling gear so that you don't have to wait to use the resort equipment. We had brought our own and we were glad we did. We went sea kayaking just about everyday, always had lunch on the beach (the grilled burgers and fries were great) and spent the late afternoons in the pool. There were not a lot of American or Canadian guests at the resort but we were kind of happy to get away and not hear English for a week. The staff was friendly and the service was with a smile. If you dine at one of the a la carte restaurants, we would reccomend the Media Luna, which is the steakhouse. The animation team (i.e. the entertainment) seemed better during our first stay than our second but maybe that was because we had seen some of it before. If you are looking to go on a truly relaxing vacation and want to avoid the party scene, Natura is defintely the way to go!

The ride from the airport to the resort was under 30 minutes with one stop on the way at another resort. Within another 20 minutes we were settled into our room which comes with bottled water, 2 bottles of pop and 2 Presidente's in the mini fridge. The staff is quite friendly and very energized especially for the night life. The animation team is …

I finally found a portable steamer so I don't have to iron clothes (least favorite chore) and converted some dollars to pounds so i can buy groceries to cook with my first few days (most favorite chore). Opened up a travel card so I can earn miles towards future trips ;) and stacked up on some more literature so I can be well versed on everything ...

Punta Cana is the easternmost point on Hispaniola and the
center of the biggest concentration of large resorts. I was surprised to learn
that Dominican Republic is third in Latin America in terms of foreign tourism
receipts after Mexico and Brazil. Maybe it’s because I’ve mostly lived in the
western U.S. where people mostly go to Mexico on their beach vacations, but I
hadn’t realized how big a tourism industry there is in the D.R. ...

We just got back from a wonderful 10 days in Punta Cana. We stayed at the Esmeralda Punta Cana resort. It was quite hot and humid for my liking, but we had a great time. It was our third visit there and we decided to do an ATV excursion, a parasail excursion off the beach which did not turn out well. And a free shopping excursion which was nice they had a hard rock café restaurant and we had a delicious hamburger the last night we were there. As far as the parasail ...

The bed was amazing after 1 month sleeping in backpacker hostel with beds as hard as tables. I slept until lunchtime the next morning and went for a walk around the hotel to explore. It was so beautiful. The water were so so clear and the sand white. The beach was surrended by palm trees and it was a lot of people wind surfing, sailing and ...
