... that life has it's own rhythm here; clocks tick slower and people are super laid back, happy, chilled, friendly, chatty and helpful - absolutely fabulous! Everytime we were walking along the road, a car would pull up and offer us a ride. And just overall everybody met us so friendly and made us feel welcome - a great place to chill out and enjoy life.

... of the laundromat found them an apartment in the village for the night as they were flying to Nassau the next day. A very sobering event for us all. Thank God they were alright. Den & I think they might've hit a container from a ship. In fact a supply ship left Georgetown Saturday morning and passed us in the afternoon. It might be sometime this weekend for the next entry. We hope to arrive in Eleuthera sometime this weekend. Will update soon. All our love.
Hi everyone. As of right now it looks like we and 3/4 of the over 300 boats anchored here are leaving tomorrow. We are headed for Black Point about 50 miles to the north. We'll keep ya posted once we get another chance at the internet. All our love.
... for months at a time to escape the northern winter and meet up with cruising friends year after year. We will probably be here til Saturday. The winds are supposed to die down by then and so are the seas. Tomorrow we will dingy across the harbor to the town for provisions.
... br> We had some complications the day we boarded. 26 students (one being my roommate) had not received their visas, and were stuck in fort Lauderdale. Because of this they postponed embarkation from 5pm to 11pm, then when the kids STILL didn’t come they decided to spend the night in Nassau and leave at noon the next day.
