Today was an excursion day. We booked a horseback riding tour through the hotel and waited in the gift store for the van.

Mineral Liquid Joy
... proceeded into a wonderfully lush jungle area and down to a river where we entered the water and walked upstream.
These waters are highly mineralized and healing. We swam and soaked and took pictures.
Mayfield falls was exhilarating and we could hardly bring ourselves to dry off.
Soon we were downstream and picnicking beside the river with beans, fish, tortillas and vegetables.
