After being away from my husband for three and a half months, we decided to take a four day weekend in Negro, Jamaica.

When you go to Bar-B-Barn you are not just a guest, you are part of a family; home away from home, singles, couples and family alike. Being a family run hotel that has been in operation for over twenty years, I know what it is to look for that personalized ...

... there just in time, don't like these close calls, not good for the stress levels. From Miami we flew to Montego Bay which was only an hour and a half flight. Got to our hotel, and it's fantastic. It's got a nice big pool right next to the beach, a lazy river and a couple of water slides. Today was a much needed day at sea. We got a ton of sun yesterday and are both pretty tired today. We started with breakfast at the solarium, one of the few places we haven't tried yet. It’s the healthier eating buffet. The food wasn’t particularly good, though to be fair none of the buffet food on this ship is very good. We’ve been eating a lot at some of the other dining venues and have only visited ...

      Special Moment for Two

      ... his fault.
Dinner was good, and after dinner we went to Neptune's bar and had scotch, rum and who know what else. We people watched and laughed, and then we started chatting with a nice couple from NC. They told us all about the membership programs and booking the next vacation while still here. We said we'd check it out.
Then it was back to the room to relax, and we planned to get up early to enjoy our last ...
