I even managed to find my way around the resort, mostly. Lisa had a massive suite. Danielle had a swanky room also.
We hung out in her room for a bit. Not much happening there as it's couples only.

But, we were off. We took a bus to the Ocho Rios area and checked into our hotel room. The safe didn't work. We found out later it had to do with us using a credit card to get it enabled. Not knowing that we just kept our passports, cash and cameras with us the whole time we stayed there.

... argghh no wifi there.. At least my phone worked and I called Steve, the owner of the Bethel Court Hostel who told me they still had vacancy in one of the dorm rooms. Lucky for me, his driver was at the airport to pick up some other guests at that time and took me straight to the Hostel.

... beef well prepared. I had the creamed spinach which was excellent. I was impressed that my 2010 bottle of Caymus cabernet sauvignon was served in a Stolzle wine glass rather than a thick stemmed water glass. The place was almost empty the night I was there and seemed almost empty every time I walked by, perhaps due to the $35 per person charge to dine there. Aboard Conquest, it would appear that if it isn’t free (except for booze) it doesn’t sell.
