Ok, this blog will tell you about my first whole week in Minnesota. The week was great but first we had to fly in from Orlando and drive to our old friends - Kendall and Hunter’s house. We have known them and their family for over 7 years and they are very close to us. After we had settled in at their house, we played in the backyard with their trampoline and the boxes it came in because their dad put it up just ...

We found Countrycampground after winding through downtown Detroit Lakes. Homes were built with a lake view and across the main road was the lake with docks for the homes. It was interesting how they were laid out. It looked like an ocean shore in SC - people laying out in the sun, building sand castles and swimming at 8:00 p.m. Jim found a rocking place for dinner called Zorbaz! It reminded me of restaurants in Key West - open doors, sides, windows, with bar or ...

    Detroit Lakes, MN

Traveled to Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. We are staying overnight at Forest Hills RV Resort. The resort is located on a nice golf course. Unfortunately, the golf course is maintained with Toro and Jack equipment.

On our way to Detroit Lakes, we explored some of Minnesota's 10,000 lakes. We seen a lot of water fowl but that was really the extent of wildlife we encountered.

Chilled out the rest of the day.

    Day 3

Today we sat in the sun, kayaked, and napped. It was another beautiful day. I did get up very early to pick up a speedo cable in Alexandria. About a 250 mile trip but I need it. I'm not putting the cable on here at the cabin for a few reasons. I'll need to do this at home. Brittany has no fear of the kayak. She is pretty fast as well. Loretta will join us today. Looking forward to that. ...

Got to Britt's about 6pm last night after stopping by Svingen's cabin for instructions. A long day of riding but everything went well. About 425 miles. We ate at Texas Road House last night and went to the movie "Lucy". We were a little disappointed with the movie. Later, Britt drew a bath for me in her jacuzzi bath with candles. Very nice! Today ...
