Ok, this blog will tell you about my first whole week in Minnesota. The week was great but first we had to fly in from Orlando and drive to our old friends - Kendall and Hunter’s house. We have known them and their family for over 7 years and they are very close to us. After we had settled in at their house, we played in the backyard with their trampoline and the boxes it came in because their dad put it up just ...

... somewhere! So far the Lutherans have outnumbered other denominations (that we've seen anyway). Finally I can tell that Jim is taking retirement seriously since we didn't have to go inside a single church to see what kind of organ they had!! I've waited a long time for that to happen!!

There were a few historic train cars and a train depot that looked interesting but was closed on Sat. so we didn't get to look inside. Also several decorated buffalo ...

Traveled to Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. We are staying overnight at Forest Hills RV Resort. The resort is located on a nice golf course. Unfortunately, the golf course is maintained with Toro and Jack equipment.

On our way to Detroit Lakes, we explored some of Minnesota's 10,000 lakes. We seen a lot of water fowl but that was really the extent of wildlife we encountered.

Chilled out the rest of the day.

          Happy Trails,

... make sence she miss this adventure. I'm sure she didn't want to butt in. Well, I have bad news about the motorcycle. I put the speedo cable on, even though I wasn't going to, and it did not fix the problem. Now I need a speedo drive. Can't get one until next week. This might be a deal breaker for Chad and my trip. We ended the day playing cards, Phase 10. This is Brandon's game he taught ...

... planning to go to Walmart for food and on to cabin in DL (Frazee, MN). The cabin is wonderful! I'm sure the $180 worth of food Brittany bought will do just fine. Sheesh! We spend the day swimming and floating on air mattresses. For supper we grilled stakes. We also ate mushrooms and potato salad. Got word Loretta is coming tomorrow night. What ...
