    Hva er det som har gjort Goalden Coast så populært blant australiere? Området har en sammenhengende sandstrand på 70 km og gjennomsnitts temperaturen er 22 grader med minst 300 soldager i året med andre ord SOMMER HELE ÅRET! På 1980 tallet kom skyskraperne og alle shoppingsentrene for å lokke enda flere badegjester hit. Nå vrimler …

    I morges var det godt å våkne til fuglesang, sol og frisk morgen luft. Før frokost gikk vi en liten tur i regnskogen på Top tree walk. Vi var alene og klatret opp på et utsiktsplattform 30 meter over bakken. Det var rart å se regnskogen fra denne høyden. Vi spiste en lett frokost før vi satte oss i bilen.

    ... cause wind tunnels, making the beach quite gusty... So when I laid down, with my freshly oiled legs, I got completely sand blasted and returned to the hostel about 15 minutes later looking like a sand sculpture!
