Our guide, Monique, was a young peppy
girl who I could not tell if she loved or was “meh” about her
job. I think it was the former, since I could see how she lit up when
she talked about seeing dolphins and whales from the roof. She

We headed back to the beach in the afternoon and had a few hours there before heading off towards Brisbane. We swap our campers tomorrow so we thought we'd drive as close as possible tonight and then we can get sorted quickly in the morning. We eventually found a truck stop, had tea and sleep again in what could be referred to as Eddie Stobarts ...

Awoke to a cool morning. Only 20 degrees today but humid. We tried to level the campervan today by driving one side onto two rocks. It is definitely better. Off for a 10km easy walk today. From O'Reilly's Retreat we bush walked to Morans Gorge to climb Mick's Rainforest observation tower. The 18 metre tower next to a large Red Carabeen puts you into the tree tops.
