På 1980 tallet kom skyskraperne og alle shoppingsentrene for å lokke enda flere badegjester hit. Nå vrimler …

We walked over to the Broadwater Parklands, and actually had quite a fun new years celebration, ringing it in at 9pm local time.

This suited us well, because we our alarms were set for 445am, ready for the next day's flight to Sydney.

Scuba diving on the Gold Coast

A travel blog entry by shawnb12 on Nov 05, 2014

I took the tram and bus down to Coolangatta today for some scuba diving. Went out with Cooley Dive and they were great. Two dives at south shore of Cook Island were relatively low key. I was at almost half tank when my dive buddy ran down to the safety mark for air. Guess I'm doing a good job conserving air.

We saw some green sea turtles, a stingray (didn't get a picture of him, he swam off too ...
