      Dinner for two

We finally managed to get into one of the onsite restaurants. We had dinner this evening at La Luna Steakhouse. You do not have to pay at the restraints but you do need a reservation and it can take days to be able to get in. Regardless of the wait it was a great experience. La Luna is set on one of the many interconnected ponds, so there is plentiful wildlife surrounding you throughout your candle lit dining experience. The ducks, ...

We gave the local market another try today and actually bought a few souvenirs. We managed to fend off their overly aggressive sales tactics, but it just about finished me. I've heard enough 'cheapie cheapie', 'best price', and 'bless my store' to last me a lifetime. I really don't think that they ...

In the ponds there are turtles, a variety of fish and very large toads or ...

What we didn't know going to the island is that there is a military base there and the Americans will be adding an installation there. Apparently the island is a 'bridge' for drug running from South America. Our voyage back to the mainland was provided by speedboat. Surprisingly this was not as terrifying as it sounds. The ...

... folded and gave us 5 special dinners. YAY!

We enjoyed the rest of the night with "FREE" alcohol and food. However, we decided to do room service, and let me tell you the food tasted like it was just reheated. Nothing really too special plus you needed to tip the dude. Which I love doing, because I am Canadian it is in my blood! Apparently, the workers stated that we are, and they are really nice to Canadians.
