      Up early again! Damn it! Why can't I sleep in! Anyway, took my washing to the lavenderia. Cost 5E for wash, 5E for dry and 1.5E for washing powder. That was for a small load. Had an apricot croissant and cafe latte for breakfast while I waited. Made my way to the train station without any difficulty. It's so busy at the termini station. The train to Lecce is very full.       ... of the walk, spotting birds of different varieties and sizes enjoying the fruits of a large neglected garden of fichi d'India (prickly pear - which we've also seen as a fibre in a Lecce gallery, used as a material for all sorts of objects), and very ripe pomegranates.
