... were even less tourist than it orginally had, we could see that the shopkeepers are desperately in need of money and to clear their stocks out. They became so agressive in dragging tourist into their shops, they would even grab our arms while we were walking down the road.

... the farmer told me not to! Very hot place lots of action going on which you could in no way photo normally. Donkeys without the impression of cruelty define that!
Colours/vibes/sounds/tunisian people go early and sample the real place. I left 0900 and that's when things get in my view worse,tourists arrive most locals go into money mode, head there and back early it's well worth it.
